• New York Artist:

    Irrix Screen

Irrix Screen operates within a self-contained artistic system grounded in psychological excavation and permanence. Each work is treated as a singular extraction — a fixed interval of thought, tension, and memory — released once and never revisited.

Working across painting and wearable form, his practice examines the threshold between instinct and consciousness. Texture, atmosphere, and symbolic structure function as evidence rather than embellishment. The work does not illustrate emotion — it confronts it.

Each piece enters the archive as a sealed layer within an unfolding chronology.

  • Section image

    Site of Extraction:

Within the studio, each object is approached as evidence. Surfaces are worked until their internal structure becomes visible. Nothing is ornamental. Nothing is incidental.

What remains after this process is not expression — it is record.

  • Section image

    Continuity Since 2011

Beginning in 2011, each work has been released as a singular, unrevised artifact. No editions. No returns to prior intervals. What enters circulation remains fixed within its original context.

Over time, these works form a layered chronology — distributed across private collections yet structurally connected as part of a continuous record.

The practice is cumulative, not repetitive.

  • Section image

    Embedded Histories

Each work is released without a predetermined owner, yet it carries the imprint of a specific interval — a psychological and material condition fixed in time. What draws a collector to a piece is rarely visual alone; it is often structural recognition.

Like a geological core sample, the surface contains layered record. Texture holds tension. Material retains mood. What appears abstract is, in fact, evidence — of a moment, a state, a pressure that once existed.

The work does not predict who will receive it. It remains until the alignment is correct.

    IN THE STUDIO

    With: Irrix Screen

    Conscious intentions:

I am transported to a different realm when I enter my studio. It's a place where I don't feel entirely alive yet not quite dead—I merely exist. The artworks I create embody the freedoms that encircle us, yet they remain unseen until they are birthed through brushstrokes and a universal energy connection. My creativity is an inseparable part of my being, woven into every breath, every cell, and every emotion. In my studio, I find an indescribable sanctuary, a place of real safety and solace.

    Inside the Work

Irrix Screen’s practice operates beyond stylistic trends and familiar narratives. Since 2011, his works have entered private collections without repetition, forming a distributed but connected chronology.

The focus is not spectacle, but structure — an ongoing investigation into what remains when instinct, memory, and material are stripped of ornament.

    About: White Sky Gallery

In 2020, during the outbreak, there needed to be a reflection, a light illuminated by creativity, and abstract clarity, a visual realization of emotions projected through the eyes of art. WHITE SKY GALLERY took note of an artist hidden in the shadows, surrounded by large finished canvases in a chaotic studio that expressed an indescribable thought-provoking healing experience. Right then and there is when

WHITE SKY GALLERY materialized. As a globally accessible platform

WHITE SKY GALLERY is dedicated to expressing artworks in its rawest, and most vulnerable honesty.

    Interview Questions:

Me: Hello Irrix, nice to have you with us today, and thank you for your time, I am a huge fan of your work.

Irrix: hello, and thank you for spending time with me today I’m excited for this interview.

    Me: that’s good to hear

    Irrix: where should we start?

Me: how long have you been painting?

Irrix: well as it pertains to being creative, all my of life, though I’ve been painting professionally since 2011.

Me: that’s interesting, what made you start painting? And did you think that your paintings, would reach this height of success, in such a short period of time.

Irrix: to be honest, my painting career started by accident.

Me: please explain, what do you mean by accident?

rrix: I had a store in New York City, the West Village, and among other things I do, I am also a clothing designer. One day I just decided to create a painting, something small, something I really liked, and like all of my paintings they are not preplanned or sketched out. I hung it on the wall of my studio/store and this woman from South Africa asked how much for the painting? I had no idea I was even selling paintings I just did it for me, I cautiously blurted out hastily... Ummm... ... $100? To my surprise, she was very happy with the price, and I was also elated! and that’s how my painting career had begun.

    Me: wow! That’s exciting!

Irrix: yes it is, and I am fortunate from the very beginning I quickly gained collectors, and now I see them as an extended family in a way, and not just collectors. Because I truly feel that each piece of art that I create is a child of mine and part of my soul. So I always thank my collectors for adopting my children, no matter where they are in the world, they will always belong to me, because I created them.

Me: there is so much more to know about you, and your future goals, although for now, we have to take a pause on this interview, to be continued?

    Irrix: to be continued, definitely...

Eclectic and imaginative are the two descriptors that come to mind when I think of Irrix and his artwork. He transforms previously love and unloved pieces by breathing life into their slowly decaying parts, thereby rejuvenating their life, love and energy. His hands, eyes and mind work in union to visualize, feel and execute one of a kind pieces that are both intimate and inclusive.

I was at his shop a month ago when a purple hand-painted t-shirt with various symbols seemed to call my name. Its implicit messages as delivered to my mind and heart were provocative and inspiring. No words were needed to communicate its meaning, namely that we are all interconnected through love, life and the human experience. And as one day passes into a next, we realize how important each and every person, role and

experience is. Be connected. Live connected. Love connected.

    Beast

I find love to be a complicated beast, neither friend, nor foe; time; time, is what matters. I have given my heart to the abyss, and wormhole of the universe, in hopes, that; the message, would come out on the other side, of so called infinite love. I dare not bare my weakness, for it has been exploited before, in the form of emotions. I do not weep for you; yet the pain; is, unbearable. Often, the truth is dripping, with lies. And I too, like a fool, believed the truths you spun, until the air was thick; and your web suffocated, any remnants of belief, I ever had of you; out of my spirit. Time; time; is all that matters. And at this moment, I no longer have time; for you.
